I cannot trust my GP
My GP told me there are 1000 patients in

and I am not the only patient.

Nice different GP!
I rang
surgery
on Friday regarding a sore throat of over 4 weeks. They had no appointments but could refer me to a different
surgery
which could see me on Saturday afternoon.

I had a major
surgery
about 8 months ago but the pain around my stomach hasn't gone away. My blood tests and CT scan results are normal. They mentioned that have adhesions which make me in pain all day all night, so I only rely on the pain reliefs.

3 Day Ventilation and Sedation After Aortic Valve Replacement?
Has anyone else had a valve replacement
surgery
were they were told they had to be ventilated and sedated for 3 days following
surgery
? Ventilation damages the lungs and those who are ventilated following
surgery
have poorer outcomes according to every single research paper I read on pub, med!

Very relieved .......
In the longer term if the hernia continues to be an issue it is sliding 3cm they may consider
surgery
, although I am hoping it can be managed by medication.

Heartbroken
We have to take her to a specialist to make sure that is the case but either way she would need
surgery
that would take part of her jaw.

feeling alone
I have a very rare heart condition and require open heart
surgery
very soon. It’s all come as a big shock as I didn’t know I had one. I don’t feel typical feelings of anger or worry etc. I feel really lonely.

Exercise after laparoscopy?
Had a laparoscopy 2 weeks ago to get rid of endo (including endomitrinoma),
surgery
went well & recovery is too. I'm not fully 100% yet but am so bored sitting around doing nothing! Does anybody have any recommendations for exercise post op that isn't too strenuous on the abs? Is swimming any good?

Cystitis post endometriosis surgery
Hi, I had stage 3 endometriosis
surgery
just over 4 months ago. Endo was removed from bowel, bladder, ovaries etc. Prior to my
surgery
I used to get cystitis only after intercourse which would go away after a course of antibiotics.

Gynecomastia from ADT - how much?
But enlarged breasts from TDE are forever (without
surgery
afterwards or radiation beforehand). So, a concern. My question is, "How large?"

Recently diagnosed
I had one aunt say 'ah, hopefully they can give you something for it' 😆I do feel quite isolated at the minute (plus I've just had gallbladder
surgery
so probably feeling a bit sorry for myself ) so hence I am searching for others in the same boat.

Post ICD Implant-week 2
Hi all, I was hoping to get some feedback/advice from ideally ladies who have undergone ICD implant
surgery
. Today marks two weeks from getting an ICD. It is placed under the muscle and towards my armpit, over my left breast.

life after treatment
I had a
surgery
last year followed by sepsis and a stay in hospital! My chemo finished in mid September and I am now NED and taking Nariparib. I am trying to enjoy life while I am well (ish) but am struggling to cope with everything.

Scared. Mind is racing. Mom needs heart surgery.
My mom needs heart
surgery
. She is my best friend. She is 82. I am 47. I don't have a partner or kids. I have a brother. He helps sometimes but he isn't completely emotionally supportive. For the
surgery
we need to travel. Right there I'm out of my comfort zone.

Upcoming operation
The
surgery
is being performed privately and yesterday I was told that my neurologist would have to give permission for the
surgery
to even happen, since being told this I am panicking that the operation won't go ahead. My question is, does anyone else have IIH and endo?
