Discharged at last!
I called my GP
surgery
this morning to make a GP appointment. As usual my request is met with resistance. It seems my
surgery
does not accept advanced bookings to see the GP. I'll have to make and E consult.

so so sore :( - has horrible photo attached of infected incision sites
I had my davinci xi laparoscopic excision
surgery
on Friday last week so today is 6 days post
surgery
and my incision sites have gotten more infected even though I’m on antibiotics. My GP referred me to my consultant and it’s taken 3 days to get in. I’m so sore.

I had the
surgery
this past Thursday and I went from 2-3 pads a day to 1/2 pad a day. This is my experience after only 3 days post
surgery
. I will have an adjustment in about a month which will result , hopefully , in being completely dry.

bilateral oophorectomy at 34
Not worried at all about
surgery
. Just would like some clarification on the dementia, osteoporosis, depression etc risks. I’ve done so much reading but none has been from people, lots of medical articles and such but I think talking to real people will help me to understand a bit more.

14 year old son with tight foreskin, will he need surgery
My son recently told his dad that his foreskin doesn't retract. I think he was to embarrassed to talk to me. Took him to the doctors and was told to apply steroid cream and was told try gentle stretching. Went back a month later, and although the foreskin is less tight and now retracting it's not fully

Amazing same day GP service!
I've been struggling with SOB, wheeze and phlegm for nearly 3 weeks and finally gave in and contacted my GP
surgery
this morning at 8.30, when phone lines opened. They have a new system, where they sent me a form to complete, by text.

heart racing is this anxiety?
I am really scared about upcoming
surgery
this Wednesday and to make matters worse my parter is away for 2 nights. I don’t do well with out him anxiety wise. I have so much to do today like my landlords coming to fix things in my house and I don’t want to cancel just to be told it’s your anxiety.

waiting times
hello, Just curious on how long some folk had to wait before they had bypass
surgery
. I’ve spoken to a couple of gentlemen, one has been waiting for nearly two years for his tripple bypass and the other waited a year and half for his quad bypass.

Hospital Query
Hello all, I’m awaiting heart
surgery
to repair a leaky mitral valve (mitral valve regurgitation) at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. I’d be interested and grateful to hear from anyone who has had this type of heart
surgery
at the Freeman Hospital.

The open heart

was not a problem as it was not unexpected. However, the amputation was totally unexpected as I only went in for day
surgery

Help! Have I messed up
I also drew his attention to the neurological symptom I am really worried about and the risk factors of previous gastrointestinal
surgery
(appendectomy) and being hypothyroid. The suggestion was that I should continue with the supplements I am taking if they are helping.
