Dental advice 7 weeks post AVR
Hi all, I’m 7 weeks post
surgery
after AVR, and feel I’m doing well so far. Unfortunately I managed to brake a tooth last night and am worried it might cause some sort of infection that could affect the new valve/heart.

asthma
I've been on 5 mg bisoprolol since
surgery
. I seemed to have asthma after
surgery
certainly didn't have it before.

Returning Endometriosis with a vengeance!
Anyways, the question I have is if anyone has had a similar experience of their endometriosis returning so soon after
surgery
and how have you been supported by your medical team through this?

so it’s a real worry where I could

My T story
Hi, I had Open Heart
Surgery
for Mitral Valve prolapse in June 2022, Occular migraines started straight away, followed by 24/7 tinnitus which started in March of 2023, I am convinced there is a connection to the
surgery
, but who knows!

Total hearing loss
After having MRI of auditory meatus both sides in December (total hearing loss) I had a further MR scan of neck with contrast and now have received a appointment with Dental Oral
Surgery
in March but I have been told nothing as to why can anyone advise what might be going on and what they suspect

Need practical advice re:RRP for 76 year-old in fair shape
We eventually chose
surgery
as he's also been in retention for many months due to a median lobe, he preferred that to doing a HoLep followed by radiation. So now I am just seeking practical tips for the post-
surgery
period.

Salt water washing post adult Circumcision week 6
It has now almost been 6 weeks post my circumcision
surgery
and the dry patches of skin still linger on my glans and frenulum. I have read on this forum elsewhere that salt water washes help in clearing these dry patches.

I’ve been recommended it for stage 4 endo,
surgery
is 2+ years waiting list. I don’t react too well to hormones, but I’m at a point where it can’t be worse. I’ve also seen posts about dienogest, I took progesterone years ago and didn’t take well to it at all, is it the same as dienogest?

Dexta still no results
At the
surgery
asap as the swelling is bigger, pain still up all of leg. And behind knee has started to hurt. Right leg has a small swelling coming up. So no more asking dexta scan for results, been 6 months since done, and a year since seen Dr. In the first place. Since been told have MPN and ET.

NHS Admin / Systems
My surrounding neighbours all have theirs at their (and my) nearby GP
surgery
. My last vax 2 years ago was set up at a mass vax centre 20 miles away in the opposite direction which I took knowing that NHS systems were snail slow to catch on to the fact that I had moved.

UTI symptoms
I thought that after
surgery
and treatment these symptoms would stop but they have persisted. My oncologist and GP don’t seem to be worried about it but it gets me down. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

My GP
surgery
prescribed an antihistamine, and told me it's a very easy tablet to swallow! They lied! They are bigger than all of my other meds, and me and tablet swallowing isn't a good combination, ever! 😕

Treatment - radiation vs. surgery
It's less invasive so no risks of
surgery
or anesthesia, no pain, no recovery time, no urinary catheter for a week after
surgery
and no significant difference in risk of ED (possibly more later vs more sooner with
surgery
).
