New to PMR
I was also going through a period of intense
stress
at the time (I live in Canada and we had a horrific wildfire season this year), so perhaps the combination of that along with the vaccine created the perfect storm for PMR to develop.

Wanted to share my recent experience with load dosing and stress, etc.
So my life is very high
stress
and can be physically draining. Lately because of the growing season and several high
stress
situations I have been struggling with many illnesses.

2023: W9R - Mental victory! :-)
After that, running is about
stress
and fatigue that will last for several days. I prefer to take it slow. I did it today and it was nice. - The difference in measurement when I push myself and when I run as slowly as possible is minimal. The only result is
stress
and misery.

Feeling scared and lost :(
. 😢 I have been feeling completely exhausted over the last few months, which I thought was due to
stress
and possibly burnout. That was until I found a lump on my neck, and found it difficult to swallow in recent weeks.

Arrhythmias and liver GGT
Interestingly despite cardiologist,
stress
test, holter logs, electro cardiologist, ablation appointment (cancelled), none of them face to face asked after my liver levels although I did mention minor fatty liver and now controlled cholesterol.

Asking for words of support please
Hi, next week I have a VA eval for PTSD/ Depression increase. I know it’s God’s will whatever the decision, but it causes anxiety, esp. when the person evaluating has no idea of my daily battle with depression/ anxiety. Also, a lot of self blaming/ feeling ashamed. Thank you for listening. Hope you

Hello 💐 I m new here. My platelet count 1080 down from 1140 (3 month ago).
Due to my high platelets IHave been grounded from work as I am cabin crew, so the
stress
of it all has almost put me in this freeze state. I have looked for data re heavy menstrual bleeding /fibroids and platelets and have found very little info.

Endurance Athlete w PMR
Not sure if PMR was triggered by combination sinus infection, antibiotics and athletic
stress
of several hours competing in the Ironman. My arm and leg joints were incredibly sore for a couple of weeks after Ironman making it difficult to work at my job.

Burnout and BP
I have been running about like a headless chicken from one crisis to another for years I have been experiencing symptoms of
stress
/burnout. For a long time. My under active thyroid has gone very low, so have Vitamin D and folates. I feel totally burnt out and feel like my body has hit rock bottom.

Pred reduction and feelings of low blood sugar
The muscles do not feel like PMR tightness - more
stress
related. The only thing stressing me at the moment is the reduction in pred. I follow a low carb diet, so protein and veg for breakfast and lunch, yoghurt and berries for pudding and bone broth and linseed roll for supper.

I have now been told that I have PTSD! Why?
I have had anxiety and depression since I had a breakdown 16 year's ago when a woman I thought was a friend, stabbed me in the back ( not literally!) because she wanted to be me ! Goodness knows why ! Long story! I fought hard with the help of an OT and I would not be here but for him and people here

Other than my fears of growing older, being dramatic and the
stress
and the fears of wasting my youth over nonsense. My mom ask me why can’t I be like the other overweight people, she’s right.

I have a heart murmur and have to take a nuclear
stress
test. I also have to have an abdominal MRI using Dotarem dye, which is considered safe for an MRI. I mainly worry that, after all this, I will be considered as too risky for the surgery.

Anxiety since RA - medication?
I also am a single mum, struggling to work enough financially… so
stress
is constantly high. Does anyone have any positive experiences with medication for anxiety? My dr wants me to try Sertraline, or fluoxetine, but I have tried in the past and never last on them long.

I have PA, all was going well, but now they're trying to mess with my b12 perscipton!!!
During that time, I started losing weight, tons of anxiety, palpitations ect...This would all be normal reaction to this kind of
stress
of losing a limb, but I knew something else was wrong. I finally got a prosthetic leg, learned to walk again, but I kept getting worse.
