My
PSA
is currently undetectable but clearly with ADT I’m trying to build or keep as much muscle as possible. I take creatine would like to add bcaa/lucene and glutamine. Any issues here?

Surgery While on Xtandi/Eligard
At a
psa
of around 1.9 last March psma pet picked up 3 nodules in my lungs. All less than a cm. I am hormone sensitive and my current
psa
is undetectable. This July I had a ct scan of chest/abdomen/pelvis.

Mets to Bones and Lymph nodes
PSA
3.74. Doubled in since May. We meet with the oncologist next week. He is having trouble peeing and hip pain. Other than those symptoms, he feels good. Spirits are down but that's expected with the diagnosis. I am overwhelmed with information.

right knee replacement
Osteopenia cleared up after 21 months with only bicalutamide, T rose to 226, and
PSA
has stayed less than 0.1. I finally have a new knee! It‘s painful but every night is a bit better than the night before and I can walk our property for the first time in years.

Finding Support Groups
PSA
went down of course. Following treatment
PSA
returned and really never settled down with a nadir but continued to rise. Doubling times about 12 months. The Oncologist proposed 2 options: 1. do nothing and haver a bone scan yearly. Wait for mets before treating.

Biopsy results in 2 weeks - questions?
My
PSA
was 12 and an MRI scan showed a dodgy area on the front of the prostate. My PI-RADS score was 5. I was then booked for a biopsy which got deferred 3 times. I was told I would get the results within 2 weeks. Over 2 weeks later I got 2 separate letters giving me the appointment.

Prostate-as-"PCa Factory" - Reasons for Removal?
And because my cancer was diagnosed so late (multiple metastases to the spine and a
PSA
of 1700+) I
never had any surgery or radiation
. I generally think that in this crummy world of prostate cancer that this was a major blessing!

Spot Radiation before Pluvicto?
Mr.Spouse was high Gleason, low
PSA
(3.38) at dx, 100% cores GL 9 with some 8s. Except for one brief uptick in ALP (63) in 2018, blood tests are always within normal range. Latest ALP a couple weeks ago was 43.

Firmagon vs. Lupron
PSA
undetectable, all scans negative. On Firmagon every 28 days. The last two shots I've had bad reactions. Chills and no sleep the day of the shot and flu like symptons for a week or so. My question is this: Would it be risky to switch to a six month Lupron shot instead of monthly Firmagon shots?

PSA down but mets increasing?
I've been on ADT + Xtandi for about a year (see my Bio for details) and my
PSA
has been slowly and steadily reducing over that time - now down to 0.05.

After APCa treatment ends
A lot of folks will see their APCa treatment come to an end, hopefully due to good
PSA
levels and scans.

Revisiting Intermittent Therapy in Metastatic Prostate Cancer
Can intermittent therapy (a break from treatment) for high responders (
PSA
< .2 over 18-24 mos) on ADT+ARPi be more effective than continuous ADT (the current standard for mHSPCa). Two benefits they are looking/hoping for are: 1.

Zytiga & BAT
I am currently on Zytiga after Bicalutamide failed after 5 years, Would like to try BAT but not sure whether I should continue on Zytiga during BAT or discontinue until
