post radiation. Currently on ADT. PSA slight increase ?
his
PSA
was sitting 0.03 but has jumped to 0.08. Is this any cause for concern? I took it as a positive as it sounds extremely low but now second guessing ..

PSA going down, but ALP increasing
At 2 weeks, my
PSA
had dropped from 133 to 66! Bone pain is much less. All my liver numbers are fine, but alkaline phosphatase has gone from 199 when I started to 429 at two weeks and 519 at three weeks. Doc thinks may just be a surge, but this is a pretty big surge. Any thoughts?

What comes after, what comes next?
Stage 4, mets to 8+ bones at time of diagnosis,
PSA
at 137 (10/22.) Lupron twice a year, Bicalutamide, failed at 7 months, Xtandi failed at 4 months, currently on Zytiga. We met with my dad’s oncologist on 4/24. My Dad’s
PSA
dropped from 2.47-1.46 and pain has been improving.

bicalutamide no longer as effective?
After more than two years of bicalutamide monotherapy and repeated
PSA
<0.1 I just received a 0.6. Before the bicalutamide my PSMA scan showed activity in only the seminal vesicle region.
PSA
was 2.5 at that time. Lupron had ceased being effective. Bicalutamide had a terrific response.

He has been off any tx since Aug. 2023 and his last
PSA
, was the same as 6 mos. prior, which was and is .014. Pre any Tx,
PSA
was 10.46 I hope this info helps you. Obviously, he did not have to go on chemo, nor was it recommended by his Radiation Oncologist.

Getting on with life.
My prostate has been removed, my
psa
is rising. I am not on medication. Basically, just getting on with life. Refusing to let this nonsense get me down. Thoughts anyone ?

EORTC GUCG 2238 De-escalate: A pragmatic trial to revisit intermittent androgen-deprivation therapy: will we know something more soon?

Positive medical check update April 2024
Blood values are all very ok,
PSA
undetectable, Testo less 0.1 ng/ML and PSMA Pet/CT and ultra sound clean, no recurrence, no metastases. I’m more than thankful and will continue with exercises, mediation and diet.

Help to do BAT treatment for my dad. Located in Norway.
Treated with Bicalutamide and Zoladex injection until rise in
PSA
18 months ago. Increasing
PSA
from 6-12 on chemotherapy through last summer. September he was put on Xtandi which unfortunately gave him horrible side effects and we had to stop.

AMG 509 (Xaluritamig): update on this immunotherapy for mCRPC
"Efficacy as measured both by
PSA
and objective response by RECIST were encouraging in this heavily pretreated mCRPC population, and responses occurred with greater frequency in the higher-dose cohorts.

10-year update still shows no benefit to ART vs early SRT
ART
= adjuvant radiation therapy, within 6 months after radical prostatectomy (RP)
early SRT
= salvage radiation therapy, after
PSA
≥ 0.1ng/ml or 3 consecutive rises. Median was 0.2 ng/ml. Median 1 ½ years after RP.

225Ac-PSMA-I&T works well even after Pluvicto in small trial
It's small number of heavily-treated mCRPC patients, but 42% of those who already had Pluvicto had a
PSA
reduction of ≥50% from 225Ac-PSMA-I&T. Surprisingly, no Grade 3 Xerostomia. Phase III trials will likely follow.

6 months after radiation
I went for blood work and my
PSA
has dropped significantly and I do not have an infection. I’m wondering what the issue could be…seems like it would have cleared by now?
