Bone CT results.
My
PSA
currently and for the last 33 months is <0.01 Recent Bone CT scan results finds 22 mm new sclerotic metastasis in the femur. My MO said this might be normal and order a new bone scan in six months. My
PSA
is undetectable and yet the bone scan shows metastasis.

Single positive lymph node - experiences?
Have postponed HT with rising
PSA
(now 8.9). Had SRT 2011 to prostate bed. Have had Axumin scan and then had 3rd PSMA PET scan recently (this month). All so far were negative until most recent, found single inguinal lymph node positive. Am being treated by uro oncologist. I see him next Tuesday.

so a different shoe dropped
Then in 2018 his internal medicine doctor ordered a routine
PSA
. Same time his VA doctor also ordered a routine
PSA
. Yeah both were outside the normal range. So he was referred to the urologist. More PSAs and the dreaded bend over and cough.

Adjuvant ADT
Almost immediately
PSA
dropped from 4.2. to less than 0.1 and has stayed that way since. Apart from urinary problems and ED no side-effects. My question: what to expect next now that ADT ends coming thursday (
PSA
; erectile function etc.)? Best wishes to all of you, Henk

My brother has advanced prostate cancer
PSA
was 44 and he had some mets in his bones(Pelvic). After that he had triplet therapy(every 3 month hormone therapy+ Docetaxol+ Nubeqa), but unfortunately his
PSA
rising right after he finished his chemotherapy. He had an appointment with his MO and she told him he has not many options.

Update to: "Newly detectable PSA after prostatectomy: RT + ADT planned; add Erleada?"
Thanks for all the input to my original post. First, here is an administrative posting/question: am I correct to add this as a new post, or should I have posted this as a reply to my original post? Here are some additional details regarding medication side effects and treatment decision-making for

Abiraterone - alternatives
However the onco is now saying he will pull him off the Abi as his
PSA
has doubled for the each of the 2 months he’s been on it. In the UK once you’ve been on Abi for 3 months you can’t get Enzalutamide - should we therefore be asking for Enza before the 3 months are up ?

At NYU
I mentioned a few weeks ago that my brother (the last 1st degree male relative who had not yet had prostate cancer) had had an elevated
PSA
and was seeking care. He had discovered that MSKCC did not want to see him unless and until he had a confirmed diagnosis of prostate cancer.

PSA Ultrasensitive 0.015 six months after prostatectomy
3 month
PSA
was <0.1, but that was not ultra sensitive. How worried should I be? Next steps? Urologist wants to see what the 9-month
PSA
test looks like, and to get a second Decipher genetic test. (I had one prior to surgery.)
