Prostate cancer test confidence…
I recently requested a physical prostate examination and a
PSA
test after suffering weeks of constant feelings of a need to urine. I had both of the tests as well as a urine test and was told that everything seemed fine.

Does mind over matter work?
My
psa
has been rising for the last 6 months. With no changes other than deep meditation, mindset work and stress management, my
PSA
dropped from 29 to 25. This is the first drop in 7 months.

He has always had a low
PSA
but it starting rising while waiting for treatment - months and months to have more chemo at UCSF - then it spread to his liver and a few lymphs. He did 10 rounds of chemo at UCSF and finished a few months ago. His
Psa
just jumped 25 points.

Very slow start getting treatment and diagnosis
Hi everyone, My dad went to the doctor recently and discovered he has a
psa
of 255. His doctor ordered him a psma pet scan for a week later which was supposed to be today. He shows up and Kaiser cancelled the scan. They told me it happens a lot that radiology appointments need to be cancelled (?

Physical, Mental, and Diet to slow PC progression.
Ever since being diagnosed with PC last October, I’ve watched my
PSA
go from 9.2 down to 5.3 and bounce up to 7.0 and back down a bit. After the initial shock of the diagnosis wore off, I got busy living again practicing a healthy lifestyle with diet, exercise, and supplements.

Treatment break?
Been on Lupron and Zytiga for past 24 months with an undetectable
psa
and clean scans. Most recent was pylarify PET scan. Impression: No evidence of psma avid malignancy. MO is recommending a treatment break at this point.

Specialty to start with?
Been tracking my own
PSA
for a few years and it is now 18.5. Due to this group and other reading I am pretty well versed in treatment alternatives. I am 77 and if I do any treatments I would lean toward proton therapy.

No BT for those with Urinary Issues?
Although I am only a G3+3 with a single core presence, I sport a
PSA
of 13 and am on active surveillance at least until my next biopsy and mpMRI. I'm 75.

Long Term Hematospermia
I done many tests, including a biopsy in jul 20, and
PSA
tests along the way. Took a very strong antibiotic, which messed up my digestive system, making it slower than it was. Anyway, this this has still not disappeared. It's not painful. Is there anyone else who's had the same/ have the same?

My aggressive intraductal PCa (0.88 Decipher) does not express
PSA
/PSMA very well (see my bio). Dx in June,2022. I've been getting 3 month Eligard injections for the last 7 mos., to continue for possibly 11 more mos.

Our Pluvicto story
PSA
at the beginning of treatment was 108.5. At treatment #6 was 1.98. It's been climbing back up at subsequent appointments and was 8.45 at our June appointment. Scans have been done which looked promising except for new activity in the jaw/eye socket area.
