Withdrawal Bleeding week off pill, effective to indicate not pregnant?

Hello!

I would like to know if withdrawal bleeding (week off from combined pill) is an effective way to indicate you are not pregnant?

I have a very swollen, bloated, hard abdomen and have been experiencing severe cramps and back pain. 2 tests have told me I am negative, so perhaps this is bad pms ? I am due my period this weekend so I’m hoping it comes but would like some clarification thanks!

Well that could be a few things actually, but not for me to bend the rules a bit, so, best advice I can give you iis to go to your (A&E)....

Why would you advise going to A&E??? This is not an emergency problem and can be managed by a GP, the last we want is for A&E to get overly busy with non emergency issues.

🙂Having withdrawal bleeding is a sign that you're not pregnant. Not experiencing withdrawal bleeding when you should could indicate a change in your health, including pregnancy caused by birth control failure. Keep in mind that this is rare, but it can happen.26 Nov 2018

A withdrawal bleed plus 2 negative pregnancy tests should provide reassurance you are not pregnant.
