You and me both!
I once heard a saying:
"Fitness needs to be perceived as fun and games or we subconsciously avoid it."
So many start a 'get fit fad', end up hating it and then stop.
So start slowly with what you like and find fun (hopefully with the support of like minded individuals) and build up from there.
Check out Bright Line Eating by Susan Peirce Thompson. It's an amazing approach to much healthier eating and to life in general. It has been a game changer for me and thousands of others. Good luck!
