It's been a struggle over the past few years.
You have done really well goragon π That's a lot of weight to have lost.
Did I read it correctly that you aim for 1500 calories? Is that enough? How have you arrived at that figure? I hope you don't mind me questioning it but the NHS BMI checker suggests a much higher calorie target, 1944-2499 for a man of your height and weight.
Not eating enough will make it very difficult to stay on track.
I use a number of trackers.
MyFitnessPal, MyNetDiary and loseit.
To lose 2 lbs a week they estimate that I eat around 1700 calories a day.
At the moment my weight loss seems to have stalled so I'm going to drop down to 1200 calories for a few days possible a week just to see what happens.
I weigh myself every day so I just want to see if it has an effect and what happens when I go back to 1700 calories.
I'm aiming to get down to 185 lbs eventually.
Sometimes we can eat too little and this hinders weight loss but you are keeping a close eye on things which is good π
Sometimes 'mixing it up' by over/under eating can give the weight loss a boost π
You will know yourself how hungry you feel. 1200 is very low, I'm only 5'1" and struggle on that many calories.
Very best wishes and keep us posted

What an amazing transformation, well done you
Wow, fantastic!!!
You look so much better if I may say and it's great you have more energy etc. I am sure your body is grateful!
Hi Goragon -that's a nice webpage, and you've got an impressive weight loss story with good photos
Good luck with the 1200 calorie experiment. Don't know if it's me, but it seems that first time dieters always go for too low calories.
Best wishes & keep on going
Wow that's amazing And you're doing it at a steady achievable pace with adjustments along the way to keep the momentum.
Fantastic achievement, well done goragon great presentation too.
