First Day.

Well, I have OFFICIALLY started my, well I wouldn't say diet but healthy eating, yesterday was my first day and it was as normal as a first day can be expected to be. Obviously since I live with my parents they weren't really ready or stocked up with healthy foods so I used what we had.

For Breakfast I had: about 1.5 cups of Porridge (made with milk, I'm not really sure if water would be healthier but I didn't really have any other dairy yesterday), 1 small banana, 1 tbsp of peanut butter (which I allowed myself to have because its not that bad... is it?)

Since I ate my breakfast at like 11am I didn't really have lunch but throughout the day I ate an apple and another banana

Finally dinner, this was the most difficult meal because it was honestly gross (well for me) I absolutely hate any kind of vegetables, just there texture and taste (hence why I am the size that I am). But for dinner I had a chicken salad, consisting of lettuce, cucumber, tomato and of course chicken.

I know this isn't the best meal plan or anything, but it was definitely better than what I normally eat so it must be a little better. I do have plans for nicer healthier foods, for example avocado on whole-wheat toast and a oiled egg for breakfast but we don't have any of that in the fridge. I am hoping that as I prove to my parents that I am actually sticking to my diet this time they will start to take more care in what they buy rather than just buying from the reduced aisle.

Also yesterday, of course this happened on the first day, mother brought home a huge dessert from sidoli's and it looked AMAZING!! But I used will power and just stayed away from it.... pretty proud. ;)

If anyone has any suggestions for tasty and easy meals I will be very grateful!!

Imhopemyounhave had chance to speak to your parents and get them on board, healthy eating is important for all the family after all!
