Well done on quitting smoking!! Ive tried a few times but it never sticks going to focus on my weight before quitting again. The nhs 12 week plan would be a great place to start, also download an app to track your calories like myfitnesspal really helpful. Good luck

I gave up for over a yr before committing to losing weight as I think I would have found it very hard to tackle both addictions at the same time. I wish you the very best of luck and every success.

Welcome, I hope you find what you need in this community. Start by dowloading an app on your phone to keep track of calories (Fat Secret, My Fitness Pal...), it's a great aid! Good luck!

I'm starting the weight loss and quiting smoking all in one. I managed to stop for 13 months but stupidly started again so I'm back to square one and after my wedding myself and my husband have relaxed too much and piled our weight back on. I know I can do both I have hated how I can't breath properly and exercise has been a struggle even getting up the stairs with out being out of breath ha been hard. So I'm reminding myself of these things all the time. I'm using Champix to quit but also suger free gum whenever I get the urge. It stops me snacking. Plus first day at the gym today I'm hoping back into exercise will keep me busy too busy and too tired to crave food or fags. Good luck just keep reminding yourself that doing one will help the other.
