Just watched the first couple of minutes on YouTube, then deleted that window.

I'm sure if I'd got fat by eating myself stupid for 3 months I'd have been able to get rid of it just as quickly and easily. But that's not how it happened. It happened gradually. I've been overweight for 30 years and, in that time, changed my metabolism and mindset to be comfortable with my overweight (and, indeed, obese) shape. It's going to take time to get these things back to where they should be.

No wonder she's one of the two most hated people in the UK.

I think the problem is that in a lot of these programs they have personal trainers/ cooks or have time to cook lots of different meals for family. Real life is not normally so kind.

I don't think it was 'real life' - she was underweight to start with and she acknowledged that she didn't have a relationship with food - it was just fuel for her body. I've yet to see the second programme but I bet she loses the weight fairly easily as she is used to being very very active and used to eating healthily. What really annoyed me though was when she kept saying 'I hate you fat people for making me do this' - no one asked her to let alone forced her!

For me, the turn-off point was when I heard her fat-shaming. That is never going to endear her to anyone who needs to lose weight, or do anything to help the obesity problem in the UK. Her 'crash-eat-crash-diet' was never going to be a realistic test of anything, anyway. It was a publicity stunt. Nothing more.

All it did, for me, is help me realise that she is a thoroughly disgusting person I do not want to see again. Ever. (Though I'll probably have a quiet laugh at her when she's 50 year old and obese...)

YouTube has now removed the video due to copyright infringement.

Respect her for being so honest and saying what everyone thinks, takes real guts to do that. We need more people like that now.

I think the most telling part was at the start where even after doubling her daily calorie intake to 4000 calories she didn't put any weight on in two weeks, she obviously has a high metabolism and as she was underweight is not someone who would gain weight easily anyway.

The only thing in her favour was that she did find a small amount of empathy towards the end of the second programme, when she hadn't lost all the weight she put on, because "being underweight at the start she looked better with the few extra pounds".

She just likes being inflammatory and would argue black was white if she thought it would get her publicity.
