Hi all I've just started and I do OK during the day but when it gets to evenings I fall off the rails

Try to find other things to do to keep your mind off food, have a lovely bath, maybe read a book or even just potter about in the garden. Drinking water actually helps as well.

Keep occupied and plan your snacks into your daily calories for the evening. That way you're not telling yourself you can't have them when you know you can! Good luck.

Keeping some calories for the evening is such a great idea. I'm an evening muncher too! If you can't do that, I have found that by cleaning my teeth after my evening meal I don't fancy chocolate quite so much. Also, we are such creatures of habit that sometimes changing your routine can help because it stops the triggers for munching in your brain. For instance, even sitting in a different chair and reading a book with some music on instead of sitting on the couch watching tv can stop you reaching for the snacks! Good luck. :-)

I'm just the same I have a great day then when the evening comes I fall off the rails. It comes down to a bit of self discipline. But it is hard, thanks for the tips above esp drinking water.
