Hi I go to the gym a few days a week but I struggle with my weight i'm male over 50 5.11" I weigh 15.7 stone cant seem to get any lower

Hi Soulboy69,

It's great that you're going to the gym regularly, and I'm sorry to hear you're struggling with your weight. Do you have any idea how many calories you're having each day? A combination of exercise with healthy eating is often a key to losing weight - at least in my experience, and that of many others.

Maybe write down everything you eat and drink in a day and then consider whether you're achieving a good balance or whether you need to make any changes to try to help you to lose your excess weight.

My bf is on something called "stronglifts 5 by 5". It's got compound exercises and he has really put real muscle while getting rid of the fat. Also how much cardio are you doing?
