The weather is heating up where I live and Iβve been having tofu kimchi soup so today I decided to make Sushi. ππ
Recipe:
1. In a rice cooker, add: 1 cup of Sushi rice (I used Jade Pearl Rice as my favorite now), 1 1/3 cup of water, 2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar and 1 tbsp of cane sugar. For sushi rice flavor, you want a hint of vinegar and a little sweetness. π
2. Air fry seasoned slices of firm tofu with herbs and garlic salt.
3. Cut up carrots, cucumbers and avocado.
4. Instead of mayonnaise and orange fish eggs, i substitute by mixing tahini sauce, gluten-free hot sauce and sesame oil to give that orange fish eggs look with flavor as you can see I tried out for my round-shaped rolls. ππ
5. I used sushi maker in Heart shape π and traditional round shape to make sushi rolls with nori seaweed sheets.
Itβs such a warm day today and so refreshing to enjoy some vegan California rolls with an ice tea. π
