Hi, I made this sponge today. I altered it to make a lemon drizzle cake so I didnt put any vanilla in the sponge but grated in zest from one lemon and the juice of half a lemon. I made it in a loaf tin and it's delicious!
Ah do you. Thank you. It's really delicious. I dont usually have sugar apart from birthdays etc but I bake a cake once a week during lock down.....surely it would be rude not to!
It really looks it Ali and lemon is the best. I don't have much sugar either but we are in different times at present and we need something to look forward to so you would definitely be rude not to ha ha
