Thatβs okay. Iβve made it before with smoked tofu which gives it a smoked haddock sort of taste. I love it. My partner is not so keen π±
Yes I thought tofu would be nice too, I like smoked but my daughter doesn't, she would marinate tofu with plum umboshi seasoning, clear liquid in a sauce bottle, it's slightly sour and lifts the favour with sea salt. Thanks so much Agoodenough, I've not seen Bosh! recipes before, they look tasty and easy.

I hope the above link will work, this Ume-plum seasoning is the one we use, nice in stirefrys, casseroles, rice dishes and pasta, it lifts the flavours a bit like lemon juice or vinegar but more 'umani' richness.
