It says the vegan society has been going for 75 years. That’s impressive. πŸ‘

Yes in thought so too, who would have thought they even knew at that time what Vegan was. I knew someone in the 80's who was Vegan and I thought then she looked ill. We know so much more now about diet.

That’s true. Vegans used to be thin and pale but not anymore ! πŸ’ͺ

They certainly did but it's not like that now.πŸ‘

Its so exciting, isn't it.

Avon have lauched there own brand of Vegan face creams, looks great but the price is enough to make you cry, oh and Tesco have brought out some onion rings (crisps) and they make really great comfort food. Things are really improving

in reply to Kitten-whiskers

It really is.

Why it why though do Avon feel they need to charge so much.

Things are certainly moving on though and I'm finding restaurants ate also getting better.πŸ˜€

I think the price will put so many of us off, which is a real shame, they won't sell too many at that price. In Nero they now do a green soup - which is vegan and GF - it has harricot Beans, Courgette, peas and something else green that I can't remember πŸ™ƒ it was very nice

in reply to Kitten-whiskers

Yes they do need to re-think their pricing. We'll wait and see How It takes off. It's a shame these companies think Vegan, right we can charge more!

Ooh, I bet that.soup was lovely.πŸ˜€

Funny you should mention onion rings as I really fancied them last week and bought some of those frozen ones and had a few with barbecue sauce πŸ˜‹ I remember the onion ring crisps from ages ago, they are nice aren’t they.

Those tesco onion ring crisps are really great, and at the moment only Β£1.00 for a big bag πŸ˜€
