Here's more proof of the never ending interesting in consumers wanting mainstream plant based products as Kelloggs are introducing their Incogmeato range next year so here's a sneak preview:

Hi Lynn, I agree and at least it's GMO free soy which's naturally high in protein which's why they use it.
I hope that some people benefit from this range of plant based foods.

Hi Jerry
It's a move in the right direction and I'm glad they use GMO free Soya. I'm fine with Soya but I know quite a few people aren't.
I see that Beyond Meat use Pea Protein. Funilly enough I found out to my detriment that I can't have Vegan Magnums as I was poorly after eating one and didn't know why until I looked at the ingredients, they also contain Pea Protein. The Nutritionist I saw said I had a medium sensitivity to peas hence struggling with Pea Protein.
The best way to avoid anything that might upset you is to make it yourself. I have to say though it's good for anyone in a hurry and who can eat anything to purchase these products.
I'll give them a try if they reach my local supermarkets.
I'm not a fan of the beyond burger, way too much fat, that much coconut oil in one sitting does not go down well.
I love the vivera brand stuff, especially the fishless goujons which make a great fish finger sandwich with vegan mayo and samphire seaweed.
We're going to see a huge influx of these products over the next 12 to 18 months... I'm looking forward to what they come up with but I do wish they'd have a bit more imagination over burgers! π
