In season for November.

These are all the lovely vegetables in season for this month.

We have been told by our veg box farm we will now be getting spaghetti squash, so I am looking forward to that as it’s delicious. Also I love Brussels sprouts especially roasted in the oven with a little oil, salt and pepper.

Apples, Beetroot, Brussels Sprouts, Butternut Squash, Cabbage, Carrots, Cauliflower, Celeriac, Celery, Chestnuts, Chicory, Cranberries, Elderberries, Jerusalem Artichokes, Kale, Leeks, Onions, Parsnips, Pears, Potatoes, Pumpkin, Swede, Swiss Chard, Turnips, Watercress, Wild Mushrooms, Winter Squash.

(The photo was taken yesterday of little Lola who I walk in the woods, she is great company and such fun but not sure she would be up for scaring off any witches or ghosts on our Halloween walk in the woods) 👻

Your veg box sounds really good and I love the thought of roast sprouts so will give that a go so thanks for the tip. 😊

Well....she was at her house asleep on the sofa and I was in the woods, I waved my wand and said hocus pocus and the next thing she knew she was in the woods with a camera on her! 🧙‍♀️
