Here's a variation of a date slice that I made using GF flour with ground almonds flaked almonds total 250g, coconut oil 125g with 50g dark brown sugar, I spread half into a baking dish and covered with 7 sliced eating apples with sultanas and chia seeds. Then I spread on the topping scattered with sesame seeds golden linseed and flaked almonds on and baked.
For those of you who can eat oats then oats and oat meal/flour would replace the gf flour really well.
It cuts well and like all GF baked goods can be a bit crumbly but its packed with fruit and goodness... π
