Good morning everyone.

On last Sundays episode (6th May 7pm) the first 20 mins was about livestock exports from Scotland to Ireland and then onto mainland EU including Spain.

To me the content of the program would've been seen as a dream to animal rights groups a couple of years ago as this was prime time tv and on the BBC. And to me it shows a massive shift in how we as a society perceive what we eat and animal welfare.

It was shocking as it showed that some animals died on the journey and that exporters would get a license for 250 animals then pack in 297 in one truck.

The times they are indeed changing...😊

Here's a link about the proposed ban of livestock exports and lets hope that it happens:

It’s so sad to see animals that are seen as just a commodity. Things are definitely changing thank God. I wish more people would wake up to animal cruelty. 🐷

Hi Jerry. I've signed many more petitions in recent months to ban live animal exports. Things are slowly changing at long last as people are becoming aware of the horrendous cruelty that goes on. Hope, hope, hope this will happen! Also wish that people recognised there is no difference between a pig or dog etc. They should love ALL animals!!
