hi I dont have a child with it but from reading the info on the disease beive it was something I had some 46 years ago. After a sore throat and chicken pox. I was just made to bed rest and given large doses of penicillinn. but have gone on to have a normal life only developing wg in the last 5 years.. i had lots of blisters which burst when i ot out of bed stomach ache kidney afected too but had no symptoms or ill effects after treatment Hope all goes well

Hi Kath,

It is very interesting that you had something resembling HSP but then developed WG 40 years later. They are quite different diseases in the way they work, but both types of auto-immune vasculitis.

apparently I had blood shot eyes which again I had when a child and joint pains I am being referred to urologist after complaining of problems for over a year Think I nearly have the fullset now !

have all those but it was over 40 years ago and now have wg or gpa as a diagnosis
