I was diagnosed with WG in March 2010, can anybody enlighten me as to the difference between anca positive and anca negative.

To be ANCA -ve requires a titre value of less than 1 in 20 and a PR3s score of less than 3. The old PR3 test was <7 so check when you receive your results.

Just a word of caution though. You can be ANCA -ve and have active disease and be very ill and vice versa. We have plenty of both within V-UK. Disease activity can't be reliably measured with an ANCA blood test alone and other markers & clinical symptoms need to be considered to diagnose what's actually going on.
