Does anyone take vitamin supplements to comb... - Vasculitis UK
Does anyone take vitamin supplements to combat their fatigue? If so, what are they and do you think they do any good?
Fatigue !!! for most people the biggest affect on our lives, & as yet not understood by the medical profession. Neither my specialist nor doctor, have any sugestion other than eat well.
One thing I found , after hitting the” brick wall”of complete fatigue twice. Is now I do what I can, until until I feel that the brick wall is imminent, then I rest for as long as it takes.
After doing this for a year, I can now walk at least twice as far as before, it may not be very far but its a huge improvement for me, I can now cook dinner without sitting down every ten minutes.
I have just built a shelter for my mobility scooter, it has taken 3 weeks, 5 years ago I would have done it in less than a day, but last year it would have been impossible, so I feel good.
I think for us with vasculitis, any improvement we can make, is our “gold”
The very best of luck & I hope you achieve your golds

I Have 'fatigue', due to 'brain damage' associated with the vasculitis, and am on dialysis. Most of us take 'dialovite', a multi-vitamin designed for renal pateints, I don't know if it help[s with 'fatigue' directly but it keeps us alive; that is good enough for me! I don't know if this helps, good luck anyway.
