Should i be taking methotrexate with my rituxin..

That's really a question you should be asking your Consultant. Have you just started Rituximab?

I take 7.5 mg methotrexate with Rituximab. My rheumy wouldn't let me start it without at least a low dose. I used to have 27mg injections, but my liver function went too high, so had to have a break before restarting it, but have tablets now.

Recently was advised that FDA never approved Methotrexate for GCV, on consult at Cleveland Clinic Research Center. And there is no credible evidence that it was ever effective. I immediately stopped. It gave me back 2.5 days a week of well-being. Went back to 5-10 mg prednisone daily. Am on Prolia.
