Nerve pain in left ear

Went down with a very bad flue at weekend.Despite having had the flue jab.My whole body was aching and I had nerve pain in my left ear.Despite feeling much better today the nerve pain is still going on,should I go to my gp??just seem to be I'll most of the time.

Can you talk to your consultant or specialist nurse ?

I am under a neurologists.Currently looking for diagnosis. He suspects cns vasculities.But has saI'd it is extremely unlikely,so not sure.Currently waiting for a vessels kidney ultrasound and another LP appointment as I panicked and left hospita not having had it done.Not sure what he's going to think.So not contacted him.

Have you received your ultrasound appointment yet? Did you get back in touch with your consultant? How is the pain now?

Good morning Sue.My consultant did ring me but I missed the call.Will ring secretary Monday.No appointment as yet for kidney ultrasound.Pain is less and not as frequent been taking iburophen and paracetamol which is helping.Thank you for your concern.😀
