There are many valid concerns individuals must consider before enrolling in a clinical trial. If you considered participating but didn't share why you didn't.

If your purpose in participating in a clinical trial is to discover a treatment that you like more than the treatment you' re now using, then you must discover a path to continuing to use the treatment after the clinical trial is completed. The treatment being evaluated may already be approved by the FDA and available after the completion of the trial. or there may be a follow-on trial planned after the trial you open to you now. - eg a next-Phase trial like Phase 3 follows Phase2, or an Open Label trial that may be open to you. Unless the treatment being evaluated has been approved and released for sale by the end of the trial you are considering, that treatment may not be available to you after the completion of the trial you are entering unless it's available to you thru another clinical trial, which you would also have to qualify for to enter.
