Participating in clinical trials may bring many benefits such as increased education about your condition/overall health, a high care experience from the research staff and clinicians with whom you interact, your cost of care might also be decreased and your participation might well answer important questions for your own well being and that of others? It is for all of these reasons that I am grateful to have landed in this very noble profession amongst legions of people dedicated to bringing new therapies to fill unmet need and improve lives.
