Nalcrom-- Available but sometimes hard to find

Hi all,

If you're trying to fill your Nalcrom prescription and your pharmacy can't find it, please have them ring Sanofi (the company who makes it) on 0800864430 to figure out how to get it. As of today (September 17, 2020) it is available. They use only AAH and Phoenix as wholesalers (not Alliance, who are owned by Boots). And if you are still struggling after trying this approach, drop me a line at [e-mail] so we know there is a bigger problem and we can try to work out the next steps.

Just to reply to myself (odd that!) - there were no problems with Nalcrom, as far as I can tell.

I'm glad to hear it. I've heard from one patient yesterday that there may be a temporary shortage between now and mid-October, but hoping there is enough out there in warehouses to get patients through until there is a new supply.

Update as of end of September: Expecting a restock in mid October, so there may be a shortage or the next few weeks : (.
