Hi

I am worried. I missed my anti rejection meds last night. Phoned consultant and said it was ok but to take as normal as it was 10 hours since I missed them. I am still worried if I have damaged kidney. Any advice

Don't worry. This has happened to me more than once and everything was fine. My transplant team was not stressed about it. They just told me to take the next dose on schedule. Just try not to make a habit out of it. Good Luck to you!

Thanks that’s reassuring. I am also finding my memory is not as sharp as it was. I believe this is caused by tacrolimus. Have you experienced this

Maybe it’s more the stress of the whole experience rather than just the medication that’s making you a bit scatter brained. I was exactly the same, in fact on certain days I still am the same. Could be a bit of stress and getting used to a new regime of medication. Try not to worry and you could always set an alarm on your phone or whatever to remind you of medication doses and times. Good luck you will be absolutely fine 😉

Thanks Cazzy

Very reassured

I got my transplant 8 moths ago. The donor was my daughter. My function is pretty good.

I do get paranoid in case anything goes wrong. I am 64 and still stay fit and I have been able to return to scuba diving which I love

I just need to chill out

Thanks again and hope you stay well
