Loo problems.

Does anyone suffer with diarrhoea before and since I had my transplant 3 yrs ago I am having constant problems I am getting to the point where I don’t want to leave the house.

Mine have been soft since transplant, but when I did have severe diarrhea problems they adjusted one of my meds and that stopped it. You should definitely see your team about that. Good luck!

ive not had a transplant but have had this problem for a few years.i got told it was ibs but since i started with ckd it seems as thou it all ties together the different problems ive been having before they found out about my kidneys

Hi Dottie what meds were causing the problem if you don’t mind me asking ?

I believe it was the Ranitidine but it’s been a while; they cut down how many I was taking

My girl 3 months post transplant has the same issue! From meds probably!!

Hi, I have been like this since my second transplant in February. I am told that the most likely cause was the MMF and was changed to Myfortic. Things are a bit better with less stomach cramping. Have hardly left the house because of this. No problems like this after first transplant 20 years ago; I was on prednisalone, ciclosporine and azathiaprine then and on Tacrolimus, Myfortic and prednsalone now.
