Blue pill or No pill That is the question...

Well actually there is no question. I have already decided. I am no longer taking the aripiprazole, although I swear to God that my psychiatrist was trying so desperately to keep me on it! Eventually I convinced him that, actually, the ari was doing more bad than good to justify me staying on it.

Basically, aside from coincidental sinusitis, I have been getting severe tiredness with exhaustion with insomnia. Possibly the worst combination ever. Who would ever want to be exhausted but unable to sleep if they had the choice not to be? Okay so my tics make me tired too, but I just drink a little cup of coffee (banned on the ari) and get back to my old self again!

Talking of coffee, that is literally the only thing which has stopped me being asleep for the past week. If I didn't drink coffee, I slept for the whole day and stayed up all night. If I did drink coffee I stayed up all day and had a poor nights sleep. Again the latter was more favourable than the former. I know I shouldn't have been drinking coffee but it was that or too much sleep.

Anyway, I'll post again when I am off it, so expect to see lots of jumbled up nonsense again!

AAAGGGGHHHHHH! Please talk to the Dr who prescribed it for you first, maybe the dose is to high, I'm only on 5mg as I'm a sensitive soul, if I was on 10mg my head would probably explode or something, my Dr started me of on 2.5mg (discugusting medicine) so please, get in touch with the Dr and have a talk with them. Sometimes these things need a bit of perserverance. Don't just stop as they might be some wierd withdrawral symptoms.

Oh yes, I've been drinking tea like nobody's buisness ( as per usual) nobody told me about caffine! I've also had a few tipples on aripiprozole with no ill effect. (But ask your Dr first).
