wouldn’t it be lovely if some day, somewhere a post popped-up with a solution! Even one person’s happy outcome. To give hope to others. Sorry it’s not me.

I’m with you fellow T sufferers

Hi. As a sufferer of tinnitus I can understand how horrid it is. I have just gone back on Amitriptyline to help with my arthritis and I have noticed such a difference with my tinnitus. Maybe wouldn’t help everyone but worth a try maybe ?

That’s so interesting. Thank you. I’ve been prescribed Amitriptyline for Tinnitus but concerned about side effects like other anti depressants. How has it worked for you please?

I’ve been quite ok on it. I do dream a little more than I used to but I sleep well now . It’s truly worth a try and has done wonders for my tinnitus . Give it a go

Its not the chronic tinnitus so much as the reaction to it that's the problem for me. I had a terrible reaction and would have done anything for real silence, and arranged my life to never be alone in a quiet room. T contributed to my high BP ruined any inner peace. Now its just a noise that's part of my life and gently, persistently reminds me to be humble inside myself.
