Jaw problem?

Has anyone experienced ears popping when they swallow or eat, a lot of the time. Itchiness when eating too. or just randomly. Clicking jaw. I'm doing jaw exercises and need to get a mouth guard for sleeping. I clench my jaw at night.

Wondered if anyone else has experienced this?

A recent MRI scan showed nothing bad.

I've had this awful T since March/April. It randomly improved about a month ago and the only thing I changed was starting jaw exercises. Since then it's back to its normal self.

Yes ... started after virus in February .Contstant crackling when moving jaw or swallowing .. even crackles of press on other parts of the body . Feeling of blocked ears and tinnitus in one ear . Consultant thought it may be nerve damage but cannot explain why that would cause the crackling . MRI is clear . Also always seem snotty so he suggested udng Otravine 1 week in 4 and steaming daily to see if it helps.

Having CT scan .

Checking jaw but as it came on after virus may not show anything either.

Very odd. Hope you get it sorted

Hope you get sorted too! I always seem snotty too and when I went to get my ears cleared the woman said she could see a lot of mucus behind the eardrum, I tried a spray for a few months but nothing. Then when I saw an ENT who was awful, he said it looked clear. He was a useless guy though. I haven't tried Otravine. Mine came on randomly, maybe two weeks after getting back from a holiday, so had been on a flight and swimming but I'm careful with my ears when swimming due to an issue years ago where water got stuck due to wax.

Mine started with ear fullness and constant ear popping and crackling and then that subsided and seemed to be getting better for a couple of days and then now for the past 6 days I've had this awfully loud buzzing/roaring sound. Only in my right ear. So total time issues have been happening is like 10 weeks. I was put on a course of steriods for 5 days which that definitely seemed to help improve things but got worse once they finished. In awaiting an MRI scan and I've had a hearing test which showed I had hearing loss in the effected ear which they said they think it nay be that causing the sounds bit I'm not sure because of how it started with all the crackling and popping and sometimes I feel the hearing loss come back. I feel completely hopeless at the point and all I seem to do is cry constantly. I honestly wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. The fact there's no cure is crazy. I really don't know what to do. I hope you find some relief
