Distorted hearing after micro suction

Distorted hearing on anything above soft sounds after ear wax removal using micro suction.

Very poor guidance from ENT and several doctors and audiologist. I think I just cured myself. After trying endless saline flushes, steroidal nasal spays, valsalva maneuver and many ear pooping methods, today I found hope. (Right ear for me had the micro suction.) With my index finger, I pushed below my ear lob, right behind the boney part of the back if my jaw while listening to (distorted) music. I could not believe it, but the music clean up for the first time in months as I help pressure there.

After I released, it did, after a period of a few seconds, go back to the dreadful over-driven sounding distortion.

Then I started massaging the area like a mad man. Thinking all along there was resonating gunk in my E tubes, I started sweeping my fingers down from the same spot to the bottom of my neck, over and over. In 1 hour, as I write this, my world is sounds beautiful again. I hope this helps.

did the micro suction help you? My audiologist advised me to have it, but I’m concerned it could make the T worse

Yes & no. I had dipped under warm water in a hot tub, suddenly I lost all hearing in my right ear. After home ear wax removal tries, irrigation at an Urgent Care, ended up at an ENT. Pretty loud and even painful. I knew the moment he was done, something was not right. I can hear, so yes it helped, but 4 months of bad sound that I just recently may have conquered.

Hi, I had micro suction and everything was distorted for a week or do, then went back to normal. Hope you continue to have normal hearing 👍xx
