Tinnitus/ Hipetacacas ÿ
I know. I know.
It's so difficult at times. Are you having a Spike?
If so - IT WILL PASS.
It will pass friend.
Speak, vent. Talk about it. You have an audience of folk here who know what you are talking about. We've all ended up here at this Tinnitus Place and I guarantee you - not a single one of us chose to come here.
Let us know what the chief problems and pains are and we will try and help and advise on ways to go forward. There's some really good people here.
And, there is ALWAYS a way forward - whether it's external noise or breathing exercises or plunging your feet in to cold water then hot (not too hot obviously) and loads of other things.
There's the Tinnitus Helpline and there's the Sammaritans - both are good.
Here are the numbers:
Tinnutus UK: 0800 018 0527
Sammaritans: 116 123
There's tools, methods and approaches.
And above all else - you will change the way you feel at some point in time and be better.
Sending love and peace,
Jimbob
Hi FMP
So pleased you're coping a little better and able to sleep for a decent few hours. It was lack of sleep and thudding that used to disturb me the most. Panic attacks, fear like I've never known before and being utterly miserable! But things are a lot better now that I've kind of trained my brain to deal with it as best it can. One thing I would suggest for everyone (I try not to advise..I'm not a medical professional) is NOT to Google things like symptoms of anything really. If you have a runny nose, headache and a cough they'll tell you it could be a death sentence! It shouldn't be allowed! Anyway, try and have a good day...or the best that you can.
I understand completely, some days I despair things will never get better .Try to get appointment with ENT at hospital or an audiologist. Tinnitus help groups wherever you live can help. I'm not saying I've got it sorted far from it but at least there are sympathetic people out there.
