Tinnitus & Immunotherapy : Hi can I just ask has... - Tinnitus UK
Tinnitus & Immunotherapy
Yes I did and no it didn’t affect the T, except that as I was spending a lot of time at home and feeling very unwell it was sometimes more noticeable.. but on reflection sometimes less noticeable. But didn’t change in volume or variation in sounds.
Hi HappyrosieThank you for this, yes there are lots of side effects some sound very scary - I can’t make up my mind whether to have it or not , where you on it for 12 months.
Herceptin injections for 12 months (now six months is the ideal apparently), six cycles of the usual nasty chemotherapy and I’m on tablets until 2025.
Oh no poor you , I thought I was the onlyUnlucky person to have cancer & tinnitus at the same time . That’s a long course of treatment , I hope you are being well looked after xx Did you see William Shatner who just gone to the moon at 90 had really bad Tinnitus he got it while he was filming Star Trek & said how distressing it was , apparently he had a masking noise on his hearing aid for 12 months & it more or less sorted it for him . I can’t get used to white noise I play it on my Alexa sometimes but don’t like it . Sending you a virtual hug x
Tinnitus the final frontier. To boldly go were no human wants to go. Noise factor 10 .
Ha Ha I know , Well at least he survived it to the age of 90 so there is hope for us all .
I know. It helps alot when you have the money I believe his treatment at the time was 5 thousand dollars. So don’t know how much they would be now.
Yes would be expensive butWhen it gets you so bad you feel like you would pay anything to get rid of it .
That’s really good to know .
