The Beauty of Tinnitus

Oh the beauty of tinnitus, That constant noise that you ignore,

That constant sound that makes you wonder what it's for.

It's not a familiar friend that you enjoy,

It's just a sound that blanks your mind,

That carries on regardless of the time.

You will be floored when the doctor tells you that they don't know what it's for!

You rack your brain for the cause,

Medical side-effects and many more reasons,

Or just a torment for you to endure!

Try drumming for some kind of change,

Anything to create some despite for your brain.

Respite.....Google changes your words behind your back!Respite...a need to take a break from it.

It's the word I mean, not despite ...RESPITE....

I'm glad you liked it! You will notice that it is rather repetitious ( exactly like tinnitus )and all I can think of at the time is " what the hell is this for? "Happily I got a couple of hours of respite just when I'd nearly reached the headbanging stage!

I didnt notice at first...I just found i could do things again!

Then it started coming back.

I think I will shatter one day like a pane of glass!

I've had it for over a year now and I am at least halfway to being crazy!

I blame the CONSERVATIVE GOVERNMENT for it...Anyone else agree?

I guess at this point I have to say that all governments, no matter their political complexion, are capable of affecting the stress levels and moods of their citizens, in order to restore balance to the thread 🙃

More seriously, stress is a driver for tinnitus loudness - no matter where it stems from, so trying to manage that underlying human difficulty is always a good option.

there’s no beauty in having tinnitus I can assure you! Least not if you it chronic as I do! Well let’s put it this way if “it” was a person and I could lay my hands on them you wouldn’t want to know what I would do with them!
