Tinnitus Duo
This is a small cohort study from 2021 in which half of the initial study candidates dropped out prior to completion. The results are based on findings from 29 participants. The researchers haven't followed up this area of study judging by their biographies, nor have they published other work on tinnitus that I can trace. The company which produces Tinnitan Duo supported this research study.
Tinnitan Duo is a dietary supplement and some users may potentially derive benefits from use if their diet is identified as lacking in particular nutrients or vitamins.
In this instance, the supplement's selling point is that it apparently improves circulation - if that's a health issue which someone experiences, it's arguably better to discuss options to manage this with their doctor or a medical professional.
Where someone's tinnitus is connected with mild to moderate hearing loss, (as was the case for the majority of test subjects) there are alternate ways to treat those conditions which are well known to a lot of visitors to this forum.
To peek behind the Tinnitus UK curtain, we receive multiple queries each day which question dietary supplements as being suitable treatments for tinnitus and the answer we have to give is usually the same as I've stated above - if these supplements were helpful or could demonstrate effects for tinnitus, you would be offered them by GPs or other medical professsionals as part of a structured treatment plan.
As this supplement has been discussed elsewhere on the forum within the last week, I'm not sure if we need to keep two distinct threads open for this product.
