Mindfulness for Tinnitus

Hi all - I've had tinnitus for 1.5yrs now and would say suffered quite badly mentally and physically.

I've been on a long road to finding a cure / things that help and of all I've come across.....mindfulness has been by far for me has had the biggest impact to best manage it.

So much so I decided to become a mindfulness practitioner and offer this as a service to others with tinnitus also.

I have also found mindfulness very helpful in dealing with the distress of tinnitus and hyperacusis. In particular Mark Williams and Danny Penman 2023 book called “Deeper Mindfulness. The new way to discover calm in a chaotic world” draws on the latest advances in neuroscience and combines them with mindfulness in a programme of guided meditations to treat stress and anxiety. It is not specifically concerned with tinnitus but insights into how not to get stuck into our thoughts, feelings, emotions and memories also applies to stress and anxiety from tinnitus.
