I have developed tinnitus and the sounds are increasing and becoming very difficult to ignore . Recently also being affected by intermittent dizziness and wooziness . Are there any exercises or suggestions for how to manage this ?

Hi have you talked to your doctor? They could suggest a scan of some sort CT/ MRI just to check . You may have an inner ear problem that can be sorted. I get dizzy when I bend down which I can manage by getting up and down slowly! My T got a bit louder to start with but within a few weeks it stopped getting louder and I am living with it.

Thanks for that . I’ve had an mri and found no problems with inner ears . I was told I have mild hearing loss but I’ve lost more hearing since check in one ear which is driving me mad as T is only sound I hear most of the time . Is your dizziness linked to T? Mine seems to come more when the sounds get louder but I don’t know enough about this condition to judge if it is linked .

I've read that with hearing loss , Mr T wants to bridge the gap. My hearing in my T ear is much lower than in the other ear . You could get one hearing aid for the T ear . Specsavers do a 90 day trial . Boots do similar.

My friend occasionally gets a condition called "benign paroxysmal positional vertigo ". Maybe look it up and see if it sounds like you. Its easily sorted and not harmful. Its to do with the crystals in the ear. . She lays flat on the bed with her head hanging over the edge, this sorts it out. Might be worth a go .

I'm not sure my dizziness is connected but like you I need to look into it.Getting hearing aids helped a lot with my T. Try and get your hearing checked again ( you can get it free with some high street opticians in uk).

All the best
