Ginkgo - there's a problem with research

Spurred on by a report in the Newscientist mentioned on this site (which I haven't read but others have) I have this to say about research into Ginkgo...

There have been many trails conducted. But they all seem to have one thing in common. The participants are given it on a 7 /52 frequency. Time after time, Ginkgo fails. It's quite obvious by now that Ginkgo doesn't work like that. Why should it!

I had a tinnitus free day yesterday. Well, from about 11am to 5:30pm. I have 3 of these a fortnight, by only taking 3 x 30mg of the stuff on one day, and the relief comes during the following. I also have the occasional bonus day, maybe 3 or 4 days after ingestion.

I can only guess at why Ginkgo works like that for me. The guess being that the compounds need time to be cleared from the brain otherwise the potency / impact of the next dose is lost / cannot happen.

What needs to be done to instruct scientists involved in the research searching for a cure that they are making a school boys error in assumption...

I have a few posts on my trials with Ginkgo which can be viewed by clicking on my username.
