every Sunday around lunch time Mr T starts to scream at me, it usually carry’s on into Monday and starts to abate Monday afternoon to a more acceptable level and becomes its normal for the rest of the week!
Just wondering if anyone else has this profile and what could be the possible causes of such regular clockwork pain ???? 🤷🏼♂️

Could be anxiety over the coming week - do you have a stressful job? Mine is a d I find Sundays can be challenging if I know what is likely to be coming.....
No, but mine does have a 2 to 3-day cycle between screaming and hissing. Can you identify anything you eat or do at the weekend that might provoke it? Do you have alcohol on a Saturday night? Do you listen to music more at the weekend?
that’s strange, is there something different that happens on a Saturday night? I find more alcohol to a normal and a bad nights sleep can affect me. I’m also suffering bloating, wind, GERD sort of IBS at the moment and I’m finding that when this is happening and things are out of kilter that can cause it
nothing out of the ordinary with diet or alcohol, I eat similar healthy food all week/weekend, stay away from ultra processed food and have the same Sunday/Monday issues with or without alcohol 🍷 also have plenty of exercise walking the dog 10,000 steps a day and have my own 20 minute daily exercise routine.
I’m not on any kind of medication other than daily vitamins that I’ve taken since I was a boy.
I don’t have any medical record and no ailments other than this T - ENT measured my hearing and I have high end loss but am able to hear most all usual daily sounds easily.
I tried taurine for a while and T disappeared for a whole day.
I tried nicotine patches for a while and again T disappeared for a whole day.
Both days were Saturdays and both trials started on a Thursday.
I therefor believe it’s not a physical thing as nothing is broken, deformed or absent within my ears and the fact that it has disappeared several times suggests it’s not a permanent state but one that’s affected by something?
I conclude it’s a mental thing, and that something is affecting my brain and interfering with its normal state of electrical/chemical balance and especially more so on a Sunday afternoon to Monday afternoon when what ever it is affects it the most 😡 despite not having any different diet or stress issues.
So happy to be on here amongst similar people but looking for answers, suggestions and direction apart from the hearing aids, whale music and chants.
My T has spurred me to investigate the effects of life's routine on the brain. We are hard wired to accept Sunday as the most restful day of the week, although in reality such rest might only come after 4pm that day. A day without cares might allow T to make its presence known. Again, we are hard wired to accept a day as 24 hours, and your 'rest day' starts at lunchtime Sunday and ends lunch time Monday.
