Has anyone tried acupuncture for tinnitus and did it do any good?

there were a couple of posts about this within the last year or two. As far as I remember, somebody said it helped and someone else said it didn’t.

Go to the website of Tinnitus UK for more information - put acupuncture into their search box top left.

The delight of tinnitus is that some things work for some people and not for others. But dont believe anything that says it’s a “cure” . They are just after your money!

I tried and it didnt help me.Everyones different and it may help stress levels if you go for relaxation so give it a try !

THanks, I'm guessing it's more to do with the person giving the acupuncture than the acupuncture itself.

Acupuncture eradicated my vertigo but sadly had no effect on my tinnitus. Tinnitus is troublesome because is a symptom not a disease. It's a high probability that two people with tinnitus don't share the same cause. I would say try acupuncture anyway as there is nothing to lose but a bit of cash for piece of mind.
