Hi All, After suffering from pulsatile tinnitus (heartbeat in left ear 24/7) for over 4 years I have finally convinced a doctor to authorise the above scan for me. I had the scan today and hope to get the results in around a week. Fingers crossed...!

I imagine if this has been going on for four years it's probably not serious. Mine showed a vascular loop, which was not serious but good to know it wasn't anything worse. Good luck.

Hi Shantell00, My MRI showed no anomalies..? I tend to believe that the MRI would need to be read by a medical person with an extensive knowledge of pulsatile tinnitus.
