Headache/Migraine, Nausea…is this another symptom…?

Oh my, so now I’ve got headache/migraine, & nausea. Started yesterday morning, got better throughout the day. But has come back with a vengeance this morning.

Is this is normal, part of T & H because I’m sick of it 🙁😢? I really don’t want to venture to my Dr, again.

Hi DancingQueen

Honestly, I think it's different for everyone. Some people experiencing tinnitus report a higher than usual level of headaches than others - one study I've seen suggests that around 15% of respondents drew a connection between the two issues. That's a single study, mind you, so it shouldn't be taken as set-in-stone evidence of a link.

Some folks with tinnitus wouldn't identify a particularly regular or unusual level of headaches being part of their experience.

The solid connection that I'm aware of is vestibular migraine - which affects balance and has tinnitus as a key symptom. The Meniere's Society has a comprehensive description of this on their website - menieres.org.uk/information...

I include that link for information - I'm not wanting to scare you in any way. It may be a good way to rule that out and to look at whether the difficulties that you're having are more temporary? I hope things improve for you soon.

Thanks for your response.

I’ve had a read of Meniere’s, & I don’t think it’s that I’m suffering with. My balance is ok, I’m not suffering any vertigo so not quite sure what it is 🫤. I would have expected this to have occurred sooner (5wks ago) when the trauma took place..not now when I’m about to go on holiday in just over 2 wks time!
