I have had tinnitus for many years but have been able to manage it until recently when the volume has increased and I am finding it more difficult to ignore.I have also developed pulsatile tinnitus in the last few weeks.I want to ask GP for referral but not sure if I should ask for ENT or audiology or tinnitus clinic.I would appreciate advice from anyone who can help.

If you’ve got pulsatile tinnitus definitely ask for Ent referral and they have got their own audiology dept as well. That’s what I would do. When I went to Ent they gave me a scan. A few years ago now. I hope you get it sorted soon.
